CHA Seeks Nominations

The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) is seeking nominations for its board of directors. CHA members may nominate a member or themselves for a three-year term beginning January 2008.
To nominate someone, download the Board Nomination Form from the “Members Only” section of the association’s Web site: www.craftandhobby.org. Or, request a copy by contacting the CHA Membership Department at 201/794-1133 or e-mailing memberservices@craftandhobby.org.
All nominations should be sent via fax, e-mail, or regular mail to Mike McCooey, Nominating Committee chairperson. Nominations must be received by June 15, and nominated individuals who wish to be considered will receive a Board Nominee Profile Form to complete by June 30. Candidates will be interviewed in person in private sessions by the Nominating Committee. Interviews will take place during the CHA Summer Show in Rosemont, Illinois, July 19-22.
The Nominating Committee will review all nominees and submit a slate of candidates to the membership for voting in advance of the association’s annual business meeting, which will take place at CHA’s winter show in February 2008.
