CHA Summer Show

Posted by: admin | April 4, 2007

Genevieve Gorder, one of the designers on television’s Trading Spaces (on The Learning Channel) will be the keynote speaker at the Craft & Hobby Association’s summer show, July 20. She’ll provide her unique perspective on design and discuss the latest trends impacting the industry.

This year’s Summer show is themed “Celebrations: Crafting for Holidays and Special Occasions,” and will take place July 20-22, in Rosemont, Illinois. More than 50 hands-on workshops for retailers will touch on home décor, art materials, card-making, and gift-giving. There will also be 20 business seminars addressing marketing and branding, digital scrapbooking, and industry trends, as well as the latest market research findings on the teen and Hispanic markets.

For the first time, this year the show will feature kiosks on the show floor to help attendees locate exhibitors by product or service. There will also be a VIP Buyers’ Lounge where buyers can check e-mail and enjoy refreshments. For more information, go to www.chashow.org.
