Industry Mourns Loss of Two

Pat Chew, owner and ceo of Classic Elite Yarns lost her battle with leukemia and passed away May 16. She was 69. She is survived by a daughter, a son-in-law, two grandchildren, and a brother. Donations may be made to the Pat Chew Memorial Fund, c/o Washington Trust Co., 23 Broad St., Westerly, RI 02891. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, June 29 at Watch Hill Chapel, 5 Bluff Ave., Watch Hill, Rhode Island. A reception will follow in Stonington, Connecticut. An obituary is online at www.classiceliteyarns.com. Wade Roberts, president of Gutermann of America died May 26 as a result of an accident. He was 55. He is survived by his wife and three children.
