* Relocation. The Decorative Arts Collection (DAC) is being relocated to Atlanta from the Society of Decorative Painters’ headquarters in Kansas. The DAC was created in 1982 and is a collection of historic and artistic items that document the development of decorative painting. In 2005, the DAC board of trustees, with the aid of professional museum consultation, put in place a plan to employ recognized museum practices and strategies in order to move forward and become the Museum originally envisioned. Standing exhibits will be maintained in the new gallery, but traveling exhibits will also be offered. For more information on DAC, visit www.decorativeartscollection.org.
