* New company. Knitting Out Loud is an audiobook company that plans to release its first audiobooks the end of September. Intwerweave Press will have exclusive distribution rights of the audobooks to the craft trade, including specialty fiber shops, mail-order catalogs, and through Interweave’s online store.
* People. Dat Vu, technical director, Synta Inc.; Stephen Koenig, book publisher and vice president/marketing and sales, Interweave Press.
* Condolences. Joan Colvin, quilt artist, teacher, and author, passed away earlier this month. Donations may be made to the Fouts Center for Visual Arts at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington.
