Jo-Ann’s Report

Jo-Ann Stores reported today that net sales for the first quarter ended May 3, increased 5.2 percent to $446.1 million from $424.2 million last year. Same-store sales increased 4.5 percent. First-quarter earnings will be reported May 28. The company also announced it has posted its Fiscal 2008 Video Annual Report to the Investor Relations section of its web site. It features key accomplishments in fiscal 2008 and includes an overview of the company and its strategic initiatives.
