The National Art Materials Trade Association (NAMTA) has announced a slate of candidates for its board of directors. Vying for one Retailer seat are John Cummings (B.E.M. Enterprises, dba Reddi-Arts) and Mark Wiener (The Art Colony at the Blueprinter).
Contending for two Supplier seats are Brian Buell (Logan Graphic Products), Marcello Dworzak (Da Vinci Paint Co.), Walter Glazer (Speedball Art Products), David Pyle (F&W Publications), Frank Stapleton (MacPherson’s), and Paul Straquadine (Tara Materials).
Ballots have been mailed to all voting member companies and must be returned postmarked no later than March 31.
NAMTA has also named the following award winners: Jim Cieslinski of C2F (Hall of Fame) and Gene Maynard, Jim Caraghar, and Russell Woody for Lifetime Achievement. The association also plans to recognize individuals for Outstanding Retailer, Supplier, and Manufacturer’s Rep. Nominations can be submitted at www.namta.org. Winners will be announced at the annual breakfast meeting Friday, April 20, during NAMTA’s annual convention and trade show in Chicago.
