The Art & Creative Materials Institute (ACMI) has a new informational CD for retailers and distributors. It contains helpful information about art material safety and Youth Art Month. For information, e-mail debbieg@acminet.org.
The organization also announced its officers and directors elected in April - Joan Lilly, Crayola LLC, president; Van Foster, Elmer’s Products, vice president; Susan Nyborg, Sanford LP, treasurer; and Deborah Fanning, CAE, executive vice president of ACMI, is secretary.
Additional directors are Len Dahlberg, Dixon Ticonderoga; Douglas Hopper, H.K. Holbein; John Lloyd, Daler-Rowney; Henry Lum, Delta Creative; Thomas Mammen, Avery Dennison; Bud Martin, Speedball Art Products; Peter Ouyang, Sakura of America; Lynn Pearl, ColArt Americas/Winsor & Newton; Kelly Richeson, Jack Richeson & Co.; Lanny Rosenbaum, Dick Blick Co.; Michael Storie, Pentel of America; and Kate Vanoncini, General Pencil Co.
