The Rwanda Knits Fall Benefit Auction will take place beginning October 19 at 11 p.m., eastern time and ending October 28 at 11 p.m. eastern time, on www.rwandaknitsauction.org. The auction will feature one-of-a-kind knitted and crocheted garments from top designers, knit and crochet magazines, and yarn companies, including Lily Chin, Nora Gaughan, Nicky Epstein, Doris Chan, Vogue Knitting, Knit Simple, Adorn, Creative Knitting, Crochet, Knit ‘n Style, Cast On, the Lily Chin Colletion, Berroco, Reynolds, Tahki Stacy Charles, Kertzer, and Caron International.
Rwanda Knits was founded in 2003 and provides hand-operated, American-made knitting machines, plus technical and business training to low-income women in Rwanda to enable them to earn a living through knitting. For more information, visit www.rwandaknits.org.
