TNNA Announces 2007 Intern Program

Posted by: Editors | February 2, 2007

Following the success of the 2006 PiPN internship program, The National Needlearts Association (TNNA) has revealed plans for this year. PiPN, which stands for Pathways into Professional Needlearts involves a select group of student interns from fashion design and textile schools, as well as business schools, participating in an intense two-plus weeks, hands-on workshop in the history and techniques of the needlearts, followed by a 10-week summer internship with a TNNA member retail or wholesale company.

Companies are expected to create a meaningful experience for interns and provide housing or funds for housing. Partial grants are available for companies not able to provide full funding. Companies may or may not offer a stipend or pay. A maximum 25 students are selected for the program.
