TNNA Restructures Board

The National NeedleArts Association’s 2008-09 board of directors reflects a new organizational structure and includes nine wholesale members as well as chairs of each product segment group and of the Retail Council, the governing council for the new Retail Member Section.
Board members are: Marilyn Murphy (Interweave Press), president; Jim Bryson (Bryson Distributing), vice president; David Stott (Norden Crafts), secretary/treasurer; Stacy Charles (Tahki-Stacy Charles), past president; Betsy Perry, Classic Elite Yarns); DeElda Wittmack (DeElda); Sharon Garmize (Sharon G); Amy Bunger (Amy’s Golden Strand); Shelly Tribbey (Shelly Tribbey Designs); Cathe Ray (Needle In A Haystack), Counted Thread & Embroidery Group Chair; Joel Woodcock (Lantern Moon), Yarn Group Chair); Emily Pannier (Chandail Needlework), Needlepoint Group Chair; and Karen Aho (Acorn Street Shop), Retail Council Chair.
In addition to Aho, the Retail Council includes Kathy Elkins (Webs – America’s Yarn Store); Lois Hoeft (A Stitch in Time); Linda Carter (Yarn Garden); Penny Franz (Ewe Count); Gayle Horton (Accents Inc.); and Theresa Swiecicki (Homestead Needle Arts).
