Wal-mart To Eliminate Stitchery

It’s been reported to Craftrends that Wal-mart is calling vendors today to inform them the stitchery department is being removed from all stores. The goal is reportedly to eliminate as much of the merchandise as possible within the next few weeks and to completely remove the merchandise by fall 2008. It’s our understanding that yarn is not included in the stitchery department.
